SafeHaven of Tarrant County announces Legacy of Women Honorees

SafeHaven of Tarrant County has announced its Legacy of Women Award honorees.

The Legacy of Women Award recognizes remarkable women in Tarrant County for their leadership, impact and commitment.

The 2018 Honorees are:

  • Traci Bernard, Texas Health Southlake
  • Rose Bradshaw, North Texas Communities Foundation
  • Katie Carlson, Frost
  • Yolanda Carroll, BNSF Railway
  • Karen Deakin, Civic Leader
  • Shannon Green, Tandy Leather
  • Janet Hahn, Decker Jones
  • Harriet Harral, Harral Group
  • Melinda Johnson, Merrill Lynch
  • Victoria Wise, Tanglewood Moms

The 26th Legacy of Women event will be held on Thurs. Oct. 18 at 10:00 am at the Fort Worth Convention Center. The event is expected to bring in 600+ guests, all who will wear purple in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Troy Vincent, NFL’s Executive Vice President of Football Operations is this year’s keynote speaker. Vincent will share his personal story of growing up in a home with domestic violence.
